Metro Extension - Five Ways & Broad Street Closures

There will be changes to bus services travelling into Birmingham city centre and along Broad Street until early 2022 as essential work to extend the Birmingham West Midlands Metro to Edgbaston continues.

• The services listed above will be diverted travelling in and out of the city from Monday 2nd September until Spring 2020.
• Going into the city, buses will travel along Ryland Street, Grosvenor Street West, Sheepcote Street and then onto the normal line of route.
• Going out of the city, buses will travel along Sheepcote Street, Grosvenor Street West, Friston Avenue, Ladywood Middleway and then onto the normal line of route.

24 | Birmingham - Woodgate Valley North

• There will be no changes to the services listed above travelling into the city.
• Travelling out of the city, the 23 and 24 will be diverted along Sheepcote Street, Grosvenor Street West, Friston Avenue, Ladywood Middleway and then onto the normal line of route.
