Add a child for just £1!
If you have a travelcard or buy a West Midlands Day Saver (after 9.30am) on the bus, up to three children can travel with you for just £1 each! This offer is valid any time at weekends and after 9.30am Monday to Friday.
This offer is not available with contactless tickets
How do I buy it?
On the bus! Simply show your pass and ask the driver for a children’s add-on ticket then pay with cash. If there is a large group travelling then you may be able to save even more with our group ticket.
Don’t forget that children under the age of 16 (and 16-18 year olds with a photocard) can also pay a discounted fare on all buses, trams and trains in the West Midlands!
Terms and conditions
- The child add-on is not available when buying a Sandwell & Dudley, Walsall zone or Outer Birmingham zone ticket.
- This offer is valid with all adult subscription tickets and travelcards, mTicket passes, Swift card season tickets, Older Person's Travel Passes, concessionary passes and West Midlands Day Savers providing the add-on children are travelling with you after 9.30am.
- Valid for children aged 5-15 years or aged 16-18 with a valid photocard. Children 4 years and under travel for free.
- A child Day Saver will be issued.
- The children must be present when purchasing the tickets.
- Offer may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
